Reservations

Q Do I need a reservation?
A

Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and holidays. You can book through our online reservation system.

Q What is the cancellation policy?
A

Same-day cancellations are charged at 100%. For changes in party size, a fee of 50% of the course price applies. Please notify us of any cancellations or changes by 6:00 PM the day before.

Q How far in advance can I reserve?
A

Online reservations open on the 1st of each month for dates up to 3 months ahead. Online booking closes at 3:00 PM the day before. For other requests, please use our contact form.

Q Can you issue a receipt or company invoice?
A

Yes. We can issue a receipt addressed to any name you specify. For invoiced billing (請求書払い), please provide your company's contact details in advance and we will send the invoice accordingly.

Menu & Cuisine

Q Can you accommodate food allergies?
A

Yes, we can accommodate allergies and food preferences as much as possible. For the weekday Mugitoro Buffet and Sky Tororo Buffet, please check with our staff on the day and make your own selections accordingly.

Q Are there options for guests who don't eat tororo?
A

Yes, we offer a variety of dishes beyond tororo. Our kaiseki courses and à la carte menu include many items that do not use tororo.

Q Do you have a children's menu?
A

Yes, we offer a children's meal set (Okosama Zen). Please see our Kaiseki & Set Meals page or use our contact form for details.

Q Do you have an English menu?
A

Yes, we currently offer an English menu. Please let us know when you make your reservation, or ask our staff on the day of your visit.

Q How long does a kaiseki course typically take?
A

Please allow 1.5 to 2 hours to enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace. If you have time constraints, please let us know in advance — we can adjust the pacing of the courses to fit your schedule.

Q Is the menu different between lunch and dinner?
A

The kaiseki courses and set menus are the same for both lunch and dinner. However, the Mugitoro Buffet (1F, weekdays only) and the Sky Tororo Buffet (rooftop) are only available during lunch hours and cannot be enjoyed in the evening.

Q Do you offer an all-you-can-drink (nomihodai) plan?
A

Yes. We offer a 2-hour all-you-can-drink plan for JPY 3,850 per person, which includes bottled beer, sake, shochu, whisky, wine, and soft drinks.

Q Can I order additional à la carte dishes?
A

Yes, in addition to the course you reserved, you're welcome to order additional à la carte dishes on the day of your visit.

Q Can I bring my own wine or sake?
A

Yes, with a corkage fee. Sake: JPY 5,500 per 1.8L bottle (issho) or JPY 3,300 per 720ml bottle (yongo). Wine: JPY 3,300 per bottle.

Rooms & Facilities

Q Do you have private rooms?
A

Yes, we offer a variety of private rooms — from intimate spaces for small groups to a grand hall for large parties. Please see our Private Rooms page for details.

Q Is wheelchair access available?
A

Yes, our restaurant is wheelchair accessible. An elevator is available for upper floors. Please let us know in advance via our contact form so we can assist you. The 1st floor restroom is barrier-free.

Q Is Wi-Fi available?
A

We apologize, but Wi-Fi is not currently available.

Q Is there a baby changing station?
A

We do not have a dedicated nursing room, but a diaper changing station is available in the 1st floor restroom.

Q Can I bring a stroller into the restaurant?
A

Yes, strollers are welcome. Depending on your seating, you may be able to use the elevator and keep your stroller with you while dining. For tatami-style private rooms, we may ask to store your stroller separately during your meal.

Access & Hours

Q What is the nearest station?
A

The closest station is Asakusa Station on the Toei Asakusa Line — just a 1-minute walk from Exit A3 or A2b. From the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, it's a 4-minute walk from Exit 4. From the Tobu Line, it's a 5-minute walk from the main exit.

Q Is there parking available?
A

We do not have a dedicated parking lot. Please use nearby paid parking facilities.

Q Do you have regular closing days?
A

Closing days may vary by season. Please check our News page, or feel free to visit us directly for the latest information.

Q Do you accept credit cards?
A

Yes, all major credit cards are accepted. Please note that contactless / tap-to-pay is not currently supported. We also accept JCB Gift Cards and VJA Gift Cards.

Q Do you accept e-money or QR code payments?
A

We apologize — e-money (Suica, PASMO, etc.) and QR code payments (PayPay, etc.) are not currently supported. Please use cash or credit card.

Q Can you arrange a taxi for me after the meal?
A

Yes, we are happy to arrange a taxi or private hire car for you. Please let us know if you have a preferred taxi company.

Celebrations & Memorials

Q Can I hold a celebration at your restaurant?
A

Yes — we welcome birthdays, engagements, Okuizome (baby's first meal), Shichi-Go-San, school entrance celebrations, as well as milestone anniversaries. Please see our Celebrations page or use our contact form to discuss.

Q Can I hold a memorial gathering?
A

Yes, we accommodate memorial meals following Buddhist services. Our private rooms provide a calm and dignified atmosphere for these occasions.

Q Can you keep flowers or keepsakes for me ahead of time for a surprise?
A

Yes, we're happy to keep items such as flowers or keepsakes for you in advance — please feel free to discuss this via our contact form. We're glad to help arrange a surprise for your special occasion.

Q Can you arrange a celebration cake for surprises?
A

Yes — for guests reserving a private room, we can place a cake order on your behalf with our partner bakery. Please request this at least 3 days before your reservation via our contact form.

Gifts & Takeaway

Q Can I order products for delivery?
A

Yes, we offer a selection of products that bring the taste of Asakusa Mugitoro to your home. Please visit our Online Shop & Gifts page for details.

Q Do you sell souvenirs at the restaurant?
A

Yes, souvenir products are available at our front counter. Gift wrapping is also available upon request.

Q Do you offer takeout or delivery?
A

Yes, we offer a reservation-based takeaway "Tororo Cha Soba" set. Please see our Takeout page for details. We do not currently offer delivery.
